MDBuds breeding project

@Mrb53004 I usually just try to buy local brands but if the nurseries and hydro shops are out I order from either buildasoil.com or arbico-organics.com.

This time I ordered from Arbico because the nurseries were out and the local hydro shop is closed. They had a sale with free shipping for a garden pack that had 10 million nematodes, 25 sticky traps, and a 30 oz bottle of mosquito bits (bti) for $63 and free 2 day air shipping.

@MDBuds Good Deal i looked at the link to thier Site they had fine products fairly priced for today with all the new rec. states coming alive with grows. Canā€™t wait to see one of your breeding pairs

@DollarBill yeah build a soil is a bit more expensive than arbico-organics but you get a lot more for your money. If Iā€™m treating an entire outdoor garden I usually get their beneficial insect packs that range from $100-160 but since I just needed to treat 6 container plants I went with arbico because they still have quality products with free shipping and all the extra I would have had from build a soil would have gone to waste.

@DollarBill itā€™ll be more than a few breeding pairs. If I get a male and some pollen from any of the survivors there will be pollen chucking galore. :joy:

These plants that survived are tough as nails which means great genetics. Iā€™ll end up working them from here to keep the hardiness and hopefully increase the potency and terpene levels along with it.

It might take a few generations but when Iā€™m done Iā€™ll have potent, pungent, and tasty plants that are almost impossible to kill. :joy:

@MDBuds and you did it on your own so itā€™s Satifaction Guaranteeā€™d just like you want it. :v: people count on others like you to keep Power Weed alive.

Alright guys. If youā€™re following my breeding project Iā€™m doing more with IG and YouTube right now if you want to follow along there. Iā€™ll still post here as well, itā€™s just a pain to convert all of my photos so they can be uploaded here and Iā€™ve been super busy lately.

So hereā€™s a link to my YouTube video update https://youtu.be/kwTYGbKYlBU feel free to subscribe and follow along while youā€™re there. Iā€™ll be posting cloning videos and home made colloidal silver videos soon.

Hereā€™s the link to my IG where Iā€™ll be posting more of my high res photos www.instagram.com/therealmdbuds

@DollarBill yes definitely satisfaction guaranteed. I have so many breeding projects swirling around in my head and currently in the works though I will definitely be creating and preserving some amazing genetics.

Iā€™m already planning my CBD line and have my genetics for that sourced too. Iā€™ll be starting that one once these other 3 I have going are done.

Iā€™m stoked for that one. My goal is a strain with 30% average THC and 30% average CBD. I know terps will take a slight hit and itā€™s a long shot but those are my goals. Lol

The most potent 1-1 strain bred.

Man Iā€™m glad you dropped that link for your youtube. Their algorithm is HORRIBLE, Iā€™ve been looking for a few channels and yours is one and it would never come up for me when I searched. Part of the issue is I log in from multiple devices/networks throughout the day, so it gets easily confused as to who I am.

@Mrb53004 can you post a link were you get the gibberellic acid?

@MDBuds nice set up on the link :100:

@Rye yeah the algorithm sucks. Especially if you donā€™t have much content or subscribers. Iā€™m thinking about going premium soon just for the boost.

What size do you use for a single plant? 10g 25g 100g ?

I buy the 10gram package. It has a shelf life so I buy more when want
Gibberellin must be used carefully. Lower doses result in fewer male flowers. Higher amounts have an inhibitory effect. Lightly spray the tops of the plant for five consecutive days and then force the plants to flower by increasing the uninterrupted dark period to 12 hours a day. The sprayed area will stretch a bit, but within two weeks, the first signs of male flowers will appear. They will be ripe and ready to release pollen in another two weeks.
For Best Results Use This Recipe to Create GA3:
use a solution of 0.01% (0.1 gram GA3 in a liter of distilled water).

OR

Make a pasteā€¦use a brush and apply it to a section just as it is coming into flower

@Mrb53004 Do you force flowering at the same time for the treated plant and the females or do you stage them?

I am careful to not seed my entire crop so I pull the desired plant, after about 1-2 weeks into flower, when the pistils become quite obvious.
I set it in another tent, I paste (GA) or dab (CS) on specific LOWER pistils/bud sites to begin the switch. The plant continues to flower and I will eventually harvest the females when they are ripe. I make sure to let the male seedlings MATURE and then dry properly. I can get a bud or 2 of JUST SEEDS to save for new grows.
I have NO FAN in this area and treat LOWER flowers because pollen has a tendency to FALL. This tent gets scrubbed upon completion. It is a SMALL 2 plant (or 4 if I use 1 gal containers).

I am going to move 3 plants to another house in an isolated room to breed.
So chould I just treat one plant and leave a fan on? Getting seed from the female plants. Or should I just treat the tops of all the plants and harvest seeds from all 3? Actually I might only do 2 plants if done that way.

Are they same genus? Strain? Do you want to seed the ENTIRE plant? Cross pollination is not the same as making a female plant produce a male flower. If you want to BREED, that is not the same as just getting a few fem seeds from a female
Time to invite @MDBuds If you are looking to breed, take some pointers from the MASTER

Breeding three clones together. Trying to get away from cloning. The plant structure is way more uniform when starting from seed. To me it is just harder building a good canopy with clones.

Thanks for the song entering my brain at your words, but Iā€™m going to practice having good manners.
