Oh ok and the humidity keeps her watered without going through the nute soil, I get it

Yeah the humidity helps keep it watered and the tap root will follow the water you put in the pot. The reason I use a shot glass is because it makes precision pouring easier and I don’t want to mist it directly until it’s rooted and I’ve killed so many seedlings on accident as a noob with a heavy poor. Ripped the poor girls right out of the top soil. So I developed the shot glass method and it has done me justice ever since. Lol

Eh idk I never heard of it b4 I got it as some bonus from hgcc in one of my orders, I grew one once b4 but was preoccupied so i didn’t exactly mistreat it i just failed to give it the proper love, it turned out kinda crappy but ALOT of loose buds, I smoked almost the whole harvest in super extravagant ways that u wldnt dare waist good weed on lol

@Eggs. Man I wish I got gold leaf instead of Gelato. I love that strain. High THC high CBD and perfect for making therapeutic edibles and tinctures. It damn near has a natural 1:1 thc cbd ratio with a nice even high. Makes your body tingle a little and keeps you pretty clear headed.

@DollarBill gold leaf is a hybrid of unknown lineage. It’s indica dominant but grows like a sativa. At least the one pheno I got did. It stretched and had long colas but the buds were dense like an indica.

@MDBuds think i’ll google gold leaf mostly because this antique columbo seed is 9 days old. i expected trouble have had none. like to have a gold leaf pack someday to breed back to these oldies

@DollarBill I already plan to get some for breeding but I’ll be stopping at an F1. Keep that hybrid vigor and just see what I get. If there’s anything worth breeding further I might selectively breed for less pheno variance if I get something with massive yields and can maintain the high thc and cbd levels. But then that will be a shit show in my small growing area trying to stabilize that phenotype because once you go to f2 you lose your hybrid vigor and the real work begins. :joy:

@MDBuds now that my big grows in life are over, my wife and i want to grow a couple of high CBD strains. we grew a hindu and a GG 4 fem. outside this year for a hand full off seeds. i wanted to see if they got truely pollunated right for germ. Believe Me i smoke that seeding weed and my pain from lifes hard knocks and my tromping around all day is gone. i’m not to picky to smoke it cause it works. here are those test seeds

wife said Shame on you doing that and i wonder if any tests have been done on CBD hybrid seedy weed?

@DollarBill check out the cbd 1:30. It’s the highest cbd strain I have found on the market yet and only hcc has it. I am planning to get the mind body soul mix pack or whatever it is to get some of those along with the Blueberry and lemon pie.

@Eggs That usually happens if over or under watered/over watered or there were small issues with root development before it started growing its new leaves. Nothing to worry about now since the new growth is healthy. It will be stunted though and it will be a week or two behind the others but that’s nbd with a photo strain. If an auto strain it will still grow and flower but won’t yield nearly as much as the others.

Well that’s good, I have two autos in there as well, a gold leaf and banana kush, and the way I have it thought out is I was gonna leave that tent running at 20/4 for the autos well into flower bc the big tent with the big light Is red spec and let the photos go for as long as they will continue to get bigger and when the photos stop growing I’ll cram the autos in the small 2x2 tent (blue spec light) at 20/4 and flip this big down to 12/12, I know this is backwards for the autos but its 8 more hours of light per day for them that way, and if the gsc will continue to grow the whole 3 months it takes to grow the autos I’ll just leave them all in the big tent the whole time…anyway all that’s to say she has plenty of time to catch up

Also might I add that she grew fine till she got to that size then froze and those round leaves have slowly and constantly yellowed
