Had the surgery last week. Not nearly as bad as I thought. Of course, the LorTabs help.
My crop is doing great. Should crop in a day or two. An not chasing a calendar.
As long as they want to keep growing buds, the longer I’ll wait.
Keeping them cool and the humidity low.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, it is really tasty, too! Very hashy tasting for a bud that had 50% clear triches.

You can see how the water leaves are drying out and curling up. Today might have been the last watering for Alice. Most of the trichomes are milky or plastic looking, just a few turning amber and less than 1 in 10 are still clear. I doubt that we will have another UV Wednesday.
I still have not done the harvest either. I decided to water this morning and gave them some more black molasses.
All my trichomes are milky and if there is any amber, I can’t find them. With all the fox tails, it is pretty hard to see.
I get deep in there with my loupe but still can’t see them. This is my first Photo Effect to harvest. Put several Autos through the drill, both indoors and out but the last time I had a Photo make it to Flower, it turned out to be a Dude!! So, this is first.
My Autos would be all amber by now. Actually, I never took them this far into the woods. They would have been harvested two weeks ago, at the least. They would have gone for visible trikes to milky to amber in 30 days.
So Darodguy, I’m wondering. Do Photos go through the final stages differently than Autos? I refuse to push them. I not in a rush. I just don’t want to over-ripe the plant. I’m at 108 days today. LOL (but I extended Veg by two weeks, at least)

@SlingShot My Death Bubba clones I planted August 13th were harvested Christmas morning…144 days!

@SlingShot I have same of the same concerns. My experience is similar, yet mirrors yours; I have only grown one auro. All my other harvests have been photos. I grew for over 10 years back in the day and never harvested all at once. Then I went for thirty years without smoking and have only grown for a short time recently. One thing I have noticed about my Banner Fast… every stage has been fast, so I’ve noticed that when Alice’s trichomes started changing, they do it fast. Just today I noted there were a few starting to gain some hue on most buds, so I am ready to call it any day. When the lights go out at the end of the day, that could be it.
Yours have very few white pistols left, if it were mine, I might call it, because of the pistols and the milky trichomes. If you are like me, I like that kind of high.
I’m glad to hear you got some Death Bubba! It seems like a great cultivar. I only have bought one cultivar from the dispensary, Death Star, and really enjoyed it. I had just watched all of the Star War movies. One of the cable station had a week marathon, so when I saw that on the menu I just had to try it. After all, who am I to blow against the wind?
@Darodguy Unfortunately the clones I took off them and gave away may not come back to me. If my future son-in-law can revive the survivor, maybe in a month or 2 I’ll get one or 2 back (that was the idea in October!). I have 4 jars of cured DB left, about an OZ per jar. Very delicious and extremely potent!
Which is why I’m doing that Bruce Banner auto and the 9-Pound Hammer (Nina) and the Dutch Treat (Stevie). Didn’t want to spend $100 on seeds, but didn’t really have much choice…couldn’t find any clones on Craigslist when I looked! Basically it put me behind 2-months of growing trying to find a seed place in Canada that was reputable.
@spudgunner Banner, Nina, and Stevie seem like great cultivars. Add them to your DB and you will have a nice library of buds to choose from. When Alice is cured I will have 4 strains to choose from: Blue Dream Auto, Gelato, mystery weed (Emma), and Bruce Banner Fast (Alice). That will leave only two more to grow before my library is full, Gold Leaf Auto from Homegrown, and Trainwreck from ILGM. Look at that, I’m already planning ahead.
It is lights out tonight. Harvest will be some time Tuesday.
I lied. Lites out tonight, Harvest Wednesday. That will be the 1 yr anniversary from when I started growing for the first time in 32 yrs. I wanted last pics.

@spudgunner Looks like a small harvest. My estimation: a nice lid, 20-22 gr. of primo sinsamilla. After wet trim, dry, and dry trim. We’ll see. That should last me a good time.
Lol! @Darodguy My consumption has gone up recently, especially after they blew up my colon. Smoke about 4 joints a day now, so I’m going thru an ounce every 2 or 3 weeks! The 12.5 oz from my Christmas harvest is down to 4 oz left! Will run out by end of June for sure, by which time the Bruce Banner auto should be harvested and curing. If I get 2 oz off of her, I still think I will run out before Nina and Stevie are ready!
I need more mobility and motivation to get my ass in the tent with my phone to take pics. That’s hard because under they lights they take horrible pictures, I usually drag them out of the tent under regular lighting to photo them. But I’m not supposed to lift more than 10lbs and stretching into the tent really hurts. I’ll see wat I can manage in a bit, maybe right at lights out I can go in with a regular light and take some and update my thread.

I guess we use a little differently. I did take 30 yrs off and am going to be 70 this year, so it takes less to get me high these days. I guess the way I imbibe is called micro-dosing, not that I try to do that. It just kind of works out that way.
For most of my pics, I turn the LED array to about 40% and unplug my drop light. That is what my phone camera likes. I usually dim the array before lights out at night, that way they are dimmed when turning on. I know that isn’t necessary, I just do that because I can. I’ll never get another grow-light without a dimmer, and I probably wouldn’t do that with an auto plant.

Ya, I’m planning ahead too! Still have 2 Bruce Banner auto seeds left. They will get started in 2 weeks. They will go outside mid to late June, after I build a fence around our yard (probably only a 40ft L shape from the hedges out, then right angle to the side of the house). When I take more clones from Nina and Stevie, some will be for son-in-law, others for an outside mountain grow (3 or 4 maybe?). And hoping to take a cutting or 3 off that 1 surviving Death Bubba son-in-law still has (from my October clone…he is vegging it outside now for a this-fall harvest).
Once I get enough weed to last me 6 to 8 months, I might try some different varieties. My niece has epilepsy and might try something that helps her with her seizures.

Next week I plan on germinating a Gold Leaf Auto bean to grow guerrilla. It should get the summer’s best light with a harvest late July or early August.
I like your plan, especially taking cuttings of the girls. Plant them outside and get another harvest in Fall.
