Beautiful looking bud. She will make it on 10 days to go.
@SlingShot That’s okay, I’m not confused.
@Lynyrdsky When the lights go off on the 18th, that might be the last light of day. " I love it when a plan comes together."
On another note my phone crapped out today. Either need a new battery or a new phone. No pics until then. Waa.
Good news, I got my phone working! Alice at 82.
White pistols about 30%, clear trichs still too many
@Darodguy Alice is beautiful! I just love her colours! So glad you got your phone working again!
Dang,
We have the same due dates!! I’d post mine but I can just tell them to look at yours twice.
Beautiful flower… I increased my dark by 30mins every week till I got to 9/15…The purple’s were so deep. I love the color.
Very nice colors. She is a beauty. Good you got your phone working. Battery?
On-off button stuck.
Well, not going to harvest before surgery. Probably 4 or 5 more days. Don’t think I can stretch it to 4/20.
They have their own schedule.
More things have been screwed up by that button than it’s rightfully given credit for. Lol
Sling, you made me Laugh Out Loud!
Alice is looking great! She’s got some nice colour happening, how do the trichs look? Think she will last 5 more days until 4/20?
@spudgunner Yeah, I think she will last until 420, fewer clear trichs and white pistols, but still not ready yet. It looks more like a total harvest instead of a 2-stage harvest. The secondary trichs are at the same stage as the main buds. You can see that the water leaves are drying up and shriveling. She is just about done.
Alice 89 days, week 6 of flower
Most of the triches are milky. The only clear ones are on the new seed pods, very few amber ones, yet.
She’s looking great, @Darodguy ! Looks like you have 9 main tops on her…what do you think she will yield? Curious as I have a BB auto going, probably 2 weeks into flower now, and only growing her for some quick smoke while Nina and Stevie (both photos) veg for another month.
@spudgunner 10 main tops, two of them are shorter. I can never seem to get them all in the pic. I am going to harvest one of the shorties Wed. and wait for the rest to get to that perfect ripeness. I had hoped to get 1.5 to 2 oz, but I think she will fall short of that. I really think I needed to veg longer to get that amount.
I plan to continue this thread after harvest; after all growing is only part of the process. 420 my wife and I plan on trying the larfy larf bud which is dried now. Is 5 days enough of a cure for a taste?
I’ve smoked larf in less time!
Hopefully each bud weighs more than an 1/8th! Not bad for a 3month grow, tho. That’s why I tried an autoflower this time, something quick I can smoke while my photos can stretch out to 4+ months.
I love the larf. You don’t expect much from it, yet it usually gives a good example of the smoke. It also lets you enjoy the cultivar while the good stuff is curing.
Temps run from 62-68 deg. F. RH steady 40-45% Soil Ph a little high 7.3 Lights now at 11 hr.on for about 4 days now. Very few new pistols and most are coloring. Very high percentage of milky triches, but very few amber ones. Ready soon. Tomorrow I take one top, but I think the rest will be right behind it.
Everyone enjoy 4/20!
About 2 weeks ago, I snipped off some long growing branches that had buds that did not look like they would make it to the top.
I hung them to dry for the fun of it.
Yesterday I snapped the branch and it had dried out so I scrapped off the little pop-corn bud and added it to my cure jar.
I loaded my vape from it and turned on the heater, not really knowing what to expect.
I took a hit and there was a mild urge to cough but not much. I took a couple of more than turned off the vape.
About 10 later, I had a very warm and wonderful high!!
These are my first banners bought to harvest and Wow!!! It makes my Strawberry Cheesecake autos seem so second rate.
I thought I’d harvest today but they are not ready. I will not push it. Nature has its own calendar.
I am on a 10 on/14 off at 70% light. I also reduced water to half ration. All milky but no amber.
