Bruce Banner Fast Version /winter indoor grow

Them gurls look good… They gonna put you on the couch for sure. I liked the high from the milky/ barely amber stage… The more amber the more lazyass it made me😁 got my second bruce almighty(photo) set of gurls about to get in their 20gal pots.

The last ones were 6’ tall when i harvested them

Nite nite, Alice.

Yikes @Kojak, I can only dream.

What was the yield from that beast?

Not to steal the thread but my tolerance has gone up since I started smoking again.

I am retired military. I stopped all dope in 1983 when they started piss tests! I retired in 1993 but was raising a family and building a business so I didn’t even think about it. I would often have to do a 5 panel drug test for the contract I was on so I just didn’t bother.
I was working on site and bought a little bud in 2013. Probably 5 grams. Must have lasted me 6 months. Lol. If load one toke and hit it. I was good for the night.
I was doing less than a joint a night for years but it has creeped up. I guess an oz lasts me 3 or 4 months. Hard to tell. I give away a lot.
We moved up to the mountains last June and I grew my first crop. Total disaster but smokable once you got past the coughing. I did everything wrong.
Now I’m drying 4 large Banners with banana size buds!
I’m going to try some outdoor Banner Photos in 15 gal bags. In just hope they will flip in the fall. If not, I’ll put them in the tent. Want to see if I can grow some trees!!

@SlingShot No worries. I would like to keep this thread going until my harvest is dried and minimumaly cured so I can finish with a real smoke test of one of the main tops and give a review.

On another note, I bought an herb vape pen today, not a really good one like you got,but I should be able to smoke “herb” in it. It is charging now. I won’t make the mistake of smoking cardboard. LOL

Alice gets the hatchet tomorrow. Noon tomorrow will be 40 hrs of darkness. That should be enough.

You know, I think of Vapes like photography. A very long time ago I took a photography class.
I kept asking the instructor if I should buy this or that equipment.
He looked out over the horizon and said, “there’s your picture. That’s just the box you trap it in.”
Somehow, I think vapes are the same. Just a delivery vehicle for your artwork.

My grow room is now my drying chamber. I covered the top and tightened up the walls so there is very little air flow. I re-installed and filled my home made water wick in the bottom of the chamber with the fan blowing directly on it. I have brought the RH up to 50% from 40% in one day; hope to get it to 60% soon. Temp is steady at 64 degree F. and have taken the exhaust to the timer, which is set for 15 minutes every 3 hours. This keeps the aroma out of the rest of the house adequately.

The bud taken on 4/20 is almost dry. It only lost .02 gr. since yesterday. Two of the bottom secondary buds broke off with a snap. Tomorrow they go into the curing jar, or maybe they will go into the smoke me jar. :mage:

Added another water wick. RH up to 60% now, 64 deg F.
4/20 bud is dried and trimmed and added to the smoke me jar. It bottomed out at just over 9/10 of a gram after final trim. It was the smallest of the main tops. Smell is incredible. 10 days to dry, about average for the paper bag method. Burping the smoke me jar twice daily now. I may take a small under-bud to try with the Wife later. Hi-oh!

I hope you mean 9/10 of an ounce!

Nope, just less than a gram, but remember that was the smallest of the tops. I keep it small, those are not colas, they are tops or buds.

This grow was just the one small plant. I had a time constraint from the get go: we were getting the house resided, my wife is having her ladies club May 11, and I hoped to get a harvest by 4/20 so everything would have to be in jars by her club date. I initially wanted to germ right after the New Year, but the house wasn’t done yet. It was good that I didn’t start on time because we were without power for a couple of days. The temp got real low (35-45 deg, F) and no light for two days is no good in the seedling stage, so I had to wait. A week or two more of veg would have greatly increased the product total, but I am not disappointed with the outcome. The little bit that we smoked yesterday is the best stuff I have had since 1980, my Thai. If the rest is just as good as that, and it will be, I will be thrilled, even if I only get a lid of flower.

Well, ya got yer feet wet.

Welcome back to the farm.

Lol

@SlingShot My feet are dry, I’m wearin’ my duck huntin’ boots. And I never want to leave the farm!

I am still shocked at the wonderful terp profile. I haven’t found anything at the dispensary, even in pre-rolls, as tasty. I don’t know if I just got a lucky phenotype or if it was the soil, maybe the UV sessions or the low temps, I don’t know. I am really surprised because I was fighting high PH the whole time. Maybe the stress of that really developed the terps. I know one thing I did do well, though, managing RH throughout the flowering process. Thanks @MDBuds for the RH outline and the tips on using vinegar for adjusting the water PH.

@Darodguy did you slurry test or were you just testing runoff?

Flower time rh and using vinegar will help increase terpenes and resin too. Vinegar (especially if you use unpasteurized vinegar) like apple cider vinegar or those craft/artisan vinegars increases acetobacter in the soil and will solubilize nutrients for easier uptake and increase photosynthesis/resin/terpene production. The less work the plant has to do to get nutrients and the more available they are the more energy it can put into photosynthesis and surgar/terpene production.
