agreed, is it clover? If so, I heard the benefits are a nitrogen boost for your plants. I haven’t tried any of this stuff yet but have studied about it a good bit. Things like basil, lavender, etc. can actually increase the terp profiles of your plants.
has clover in it. I get it from build soil. Its called 12 seed cover crop. Not sure the science behind it but the 12 seeds are like the magic number. I’ll have to go back and watch the episode Jeremy talks about it. I don’t leave it in for too long… The thing I like most is the water absorption when the seedling is small.
Ive had seeds stored in the fridge over two years. No problems germinating. FYI, for claims you probably want to use the HGCC germination guide and document it with pictures.
However, I still guarantee you, if people would use the super sprouter they would actually have seeds pop rather than constantly blaming the seed bank for bad seeds.
I have lots of HGCC seeds and they pop nearly 100%
so it is a mix of different plants then? Pretty cool, I have watched about 15 of his episodes and one where he was interviewed by Mr. Grow it on his podcast. Def smart guy who knows what he is doing with living soil.
Both mr. grow it and Jermey are top notch. Communicate very well, humble, and hella knowledgable about organics.
You never got back on how it turned out
Try putting them into a ziplic bag inside of w paper towl. works awesome
Ah, your right Hans: they didn’t pop. They are still in the Shot Glass nothing to loose now. Any way thanks for sharing not saying it doesn’t work! I have had trouble germinating some seeds for years! I have tried different ways could be the seeds them selfs. Going to order some fresh seeds try again i switched my plants at 9 weeks from pop! I don’t have a Stash build up: going to order some Auto’s this time! Will be my first order of auto’s going to get the free seeds in photo fem opposite of my normal order:
Now lets get down to the problem…you used bottled water to germinate the seeds correct? I use tap water. Also, you are growing photos, look at my picture. The ones with the longest taproot are autos…the lone photo had a very small taproot in comparison. Now it makes me curious if autos germinate in a different way than photos.
Looks in your picture that the seeds did indeed split, you could probably plant them and they would be fine, or like you said maybe the seeds. I don’t know your sources but l buy from seedsman, pacific bank, and this site. Even bag seeds I was given are fine. My ph in tap is 7.2 to 7.5.
Success rate for me went from 60 percent with the same seeds using the paper towel method to current using tap water and a shot glass. I have never placed directly in soil I guess because I like to see and have trust issues even with plants lol
And of course you can’t say it doesn’t work because i have photographical evidence that it does and 4 weeks from now I will show the same. Maybe I am just lucky
They were Auto seeds, they do look split a little. Yes it was bottle water. I generally go from the fridge right to soil 1/4” deep hole seed cover lightly water 2-5 days they pop or they are duds. I try what ever i have used MSNL / Ketema ect Shipping to Mexico some times is the problem. Even payment from here can be problematic
it is legal in mexico, why the problem with seeds? Try seedsman, I think they are in cali and fast shipping or even pacific seed co. those are my go to. seeds always germinate and fast shipping
It is legal here, but like at home in the USA they haven’t gotten around to dispensaries, its difficult using the CC from here fraud control always Inter fearing
Used Pacific Seed Bank, thanks for the tip easy pay system was a welcome relief
They look light stressed, they should be bigger than that. You’re not allowing it to grow roots by giving it too much light at this stage.
Fun fact most natural seedlings start in shade. Ie low intensity light.
Been growing for almost 2 years now and have never had root issues or light issues and run lights full blast all the time. I have been running a perpetual grow the entire time I have been growing so plants are always at different stages in life. But thanks? lol
Your plants look bleached and are canoeing downwards. They are literally running from the light but go ahead and laugh. I will too as I watch you fry your plants.
ok sure, I have grown over 70 plants and have not lost a single one nor fried one. But again thanks for your infinite wisdom…seeee…everybody healthy here lol.
So not sure what you are getting at.Why do you keep posting more evidence in my favor? No internodal spacing and bleached tops is the plants telling you you’re giving them too much light early on and throughout. But choose to ignore your lying plants. I’ll stop trying to help you.
