Seeds in buds viable?

I have tried to do as much research as possible and cant find an agreed upon answer for this.

I had 2 flowering gorilla lemon fires logjammed in a tent that was too small and they pushed up on the light for a couple days before I could get them in a bigger tent. About week 4 flower I noticed seeds mostly on one plant but def on both. Finished up growing them because nothing was behind them. I THINK I have found a flower or two on ONE plants nugs as im working my way through.

Are the seeds from one or both of these plants good? Or are they going to have higher herm issues? I am assuming one pollinated itsself and possibly is responsible for the 2nd seeding due to pollinating.

Gorilla strain is subject to hermies in particular if stressed. They are notorious for nanners.
More than likely one pollinated the other. Was it where the 2 plants met? That would be a good indicator. I do not have enough experience with the lemon family to know the traits but someone else will chime in with their knowledge and experience. Light burn and high heat are the 2 main causes of hermies and going to far in the flower cycle will also do it.
If you had male flowers and not a lot of air / breeze around and through the plant, the pollen would fall DOWN. If you had good circulation, it would go ALL OVER. Outer buds getting more than the nugs on the insides.
You suspicions are founded but I am not sure if you have low quality seeds or if you stressed them into it. So now comes the hard question - WHERE DID YOU GET THE SEEDS OR CUTTINGS FROM

Seeds were from homegrown. Buddy had seeds from the same baggie and they came out ok.

Oh I KNOW I stressed them. Im tryng to figure out if the seeds are viable feminized or garbage herms

Nothing is garbage, there is a need and use for everything. I would try again and keep a watchful eye out

I may have not been clear. Im sure the seeds that HG sent me are ok and I fucked them up. But I got about two fucking thousand seeds off my first plant (4.5oz harvest) and I would like to know if they are genetically safe or too hermy to mess with.
I kinda planed on sprouting some for outdoors in spring but would like to find out if these hermied plants seeds will give me a bunch of hermie outdoor plants.

@shittysandwich It depends, generally with stress hermies that produce full male pollen sacs the genetic male traits will be higher creating higher hermie traits. If it was nanners, you probably have a lot of feminized seeds

To be honest I dont really know the difference between those two types. Sadly I wasnt even really looking at gender signs since they are fem seeds. Oops.

So lets just say I DID see a few male flowers on one plant but not the other. What would that mean?

Edit: ok I did a lil more reading and im fairly certain theres nanners and it isnt a true herm showing through. I would presumably have lots of fem seeds then?

A couple grows ago I grew some bag seeds that ended up hermies on me and I gave those seeds to my brother and he has currently probably grown 6 killer plants off those seeds, so they do work one way or another.

I got lucky, my first 2 bagseeds were females and one was incredibly good (gg4). I wish I could get my stuff %thc tested

2000 seeds - that’s a lot of seeds. Send a few my way and I will grow and see if they herm out

@shittysandwich you really have to tear a GG#4 Fem to pieces to have it go below 24 % THC.

Love GG#4 Plan on growing that in 2021 with some Pineapple Express.

@DollarBill some GG#4 autos from my last harvest, I did have a bud I broke up with what looked like very very tiny seeds, smoked fine but maybe it got stressed with some very wild temp swings we had here in Michigan, still smoked great tho!

Mostly we make Moon Rocks from it all

of course these are just examples, i can’t smoke the same piece twice. Dumb 4G Phone is like me and can’t take much more
