I need to keep at least 1 of the 3 Genetics alive until i Flower their Mother Plants! That way i can make my next run Clones! These clones will most likely Flower outside as were at 11:15 of darkness already:

Sounds right. So if I take a piece and put it in water, it will grow? Make roots? If it comes off a fem. plant it will be a fem. , makes sense. I guess it’s got to be the same strain also. Kool, juss never sit down and thought it out.

The Clone will be the Same as the Mother! Each seed may produce plants that are the same genetics but may look different when grown. Just like Sis & Bro same Family but not exactly alike! But the Clone will be the Mothers Twin! Giving you a opportunity to try different things LST what ever to see the different results from the same exact plants

I never leave mine in water! But when you cut it you will need water to put them in until your pot of moist soil is ready: because they can get a air bubble in the stem that will keep it from surviving. I only use cup of water for this purpose

I think my next grow I will make an attempt at cloning a few plants. All my plants are in flower right now.

why do you clip the leaves?

You can take a clipping in flower! Thats a monster crop clone! They have to re-veg and the leaf and node structure will change but people do it. I have in the past, these clones i have are from me Lolli popping my 3 plants prior to flipping! Last opportunity for a reg clone with these plants My thoughts are preserve the genetics with the clones until i harvest the mothers and test the harvest. Making the most of the genetics i like the best. These 3 were my first time growing the genetics. So i never grew or tested either!

Hans, you clip the leafs on the clipping for 2 reasons: to help with water absorption and to have the plant focus on making Roots rather than growing those leafs: 3rd reason it help with recognizing new growth

I put in a nice carrying crate to facilitate moving in the house each day to extend day time hours to keep them in Veg: tent on 12 hours so no help: it works as i’ve done many times with the shorter days here!
I srayed with Neem oil & water mix to try and keep pest off of them!
