Does she call you Batman because you like Black, or Dark Grey???
Itās like a hydra lol u see there is clearly a third sprout coming out of the second oneā¦
@Eggs yeah. Your tap root split off and came back to the surface. When that happens under intense light whatever is at the surface usually dies but sometimes they just grow leaves and sprout. Thatās 3 ladies on the same root system.
@Eggs Iād breed that girl because thatās actually a survival mutation for when the shell and cotyledons get stuck under ground but the tap root breaks the surface. Definitely increases germination probability.
So, my next question, the main one is stretching, shld I bury the smaller ones or chop the big one? I feel like Iād rather chop the big one and let the little 2 grow, And Iāll certainly take clones!
@Eggs just lower your light or turn up the intensity to stop the stretching. I wouldnāt chop anything yet. Wait until you see what is healthy and what isnāt before you decide what to cull and keep. Give it a few weeks at least.
Well, Iām in a 2x2, about to harvest my other gsc, lowering the light isnt an option rn but I have put some stuff in there to sit it closer to the light n since the humidity is super low I had to dome the seed and I feel like thatās what caused the stretching, the light being distorted through the plastic and water droplets in there, but yes thank u brother!
Really?? Can he grow it out??
Hahahaha! You nut.
You have identical triplets! I hope you are letting them grow out??? I want to see this. Because itās all about me, right?
Gonna try, Iām there with u, I want to see as well!!!
Hey brother, so my issue is the 2 smaller sprouts r like a quarter inch tall and the stretched one is like 2 and a half inches, so the long one, cld I perhaps dig a little trench n lay it down and bury it so that there all the same height and grow evenly? Or maybe āstapleā it down? I meen, I know I can, but wld u condone or condemn such a move this early? Iād normally just add dirt and bury the stretch but I want the little sprouts to survive and I dont want the big one to get to old and hard to bend or lay down.
@Eggs you could use one of those lst stakes and fill in with dirt if you want or do some tie down lst with some twine or string. Iād just wait for the top to start stretching up again first before backfill so the leaves arenāt touching the dirt. Itāll work just fine.
What do they look like today? Iām curious.
Thats gotta be the first threefer Iāve ever seen. Id let it grow. Stretch them opposite ways n make one GIANT canopyā:rofl:
@Eggs I have a Critical bilbo that has 3 main stem growing off 1 root. When it sprouted it was twisted, gnarly and all freaky looking with super weird leaves. Looked like it was dying, and probably was. Used some compost tea and brought her back, how she has 3 tops. Iāll get some pics for ya.
