I hope this is clear enough, but two smaller sets of the leaves and a big one that has unfortunately stretched, I was kinda thinking just bury the smaller one since the main one stretched, idk @MDBuds ur opinion is valued

Itā€™s like a hydra lol u see there is clearly a third sprout coming out of the second oneā€¦

@Eggs yeah. Your tap root split off and came back to the surface. When that happens under intense light whatever is at the surface usually dies but sometimes they just grow leaves and sprout. Thatā€™s 3 ladies on the same root system. :joy:

@Eggs Iā€™d breed that girl because thatā€™s actually a survival mutation for when the shell and cotyledons get stuck under ground but the tap root breaks the surface. Definitely increases germination probability. :joy:

So, my next question, the main one is stretching, shld I bury the smaller ones or chop the big one? I feel like Iā€™d rather chop the big one and let the little 2 grow, And Iā€™ll certainly take clones!

@Eggs just lower your light or turn up the intensity to stop the stretching. I wouldnā€™t chop anything yet. Wait until you see what is healthy and what isnā€™t before you decide what to cull and keep. Give it a few weeks at least.

Well, Iā€™m in a 2x2, about to harvest my other gsc, lowering the light isnt an option rn but I have put some stuff in there to sit it closer to the light n since the humidity is super low I had to dome the seed and I feel like thatā€™s what caused the stretching, the light being distorted through the plastic and water droplets in there, but yes thank u brother!

Hey brother, so my issue is the 2 smaller sprouts r like a quarter inch tall and the stretched one is like 2 and a half inches, so the long one, cld I perhaps dig a little trench n lay it down and bury it so that there all the same height and grow evenly? Or maybe ā€œstapleā€ it down? I meen, I know I can, but wld u condone or condemn such a move this early? Iā€™d normally just add dirt and bury the stretch but I want the little sprouts to survive and I dont want the big one to get to old and hard to bend or lay down.

@Eggs you could use one of those lst stakes and fill in with dirt if you want or do some tie down lst with some twine or string. Iā€™d just wait for the top to start stretching up again first before backfill so the leaves arenā€™t touching the dirt. Itā€™ll work just fine.

Thats gotta be the first threefer Iā€™ve ever seen. Id let it grow. Stretch them opposite ways n make one GIANT canopyā€‹:man_shrugging::beers:

@Eggs I have a Critical bilbo that has 3 main stem growing off 1 root. When it sprouted it was twisted, gnarly and all freaky looking with super weird leaves. Looked like it was dying, and probably was. Used some compost tea and brought her back, how she has 3 tops. Iā€™ll get some pics for ya.
