Well, perhaps I’ll just eat my breakfast so I can read better, huh?
@Eggs there are a few cheap methods.
Buckets of desiccants work wonders. Calcium chloride is good and rock salt.
Calcium chloride should only be used wearing gloves, eye protection, and a respirator when making the bucket and isn’t safe to use around kids and animals even though it’s cheap and effective.
Rock salt on the other hand is just as cheap, though it is not as effective it is much safer.
For rock salt you get two five gallon buckets one with a lid. Put the lid on the bottom bucket and drill a bunch of holes in it. For the top bucket drill a bunch of holes in the bottom and then line with a cheese cloth then fill with rock salt. Cheese cloth keeps salt in bucket and allows the moisture to be collected by the salt and drain into the bottom bucket.
What would the runoff be good for?
A “DEHUMDIFIER” is an air conditioner and will use bocu electric to take the moisture out of the air. You plants can easily live in a 50-60% Rh range so unless you live on the coast, and get an Ocean breeze, you should not have that much humidity. If you are growing in an ENCLOSED environment, add silica or rice to drink up that extra moisture.
Desiccant bags can be bought here - a lot cheaper than running a Humdiffer

@kmac03 you could use the run off for boiling pasta i guess. It has a high salinity since it was collected using salt desiccation so it isn’t good for much unless you distill it.
There’s a shortage of Saline bags in the field. Good call!
They have cheap ones on Amazon from $30 and up. So so so many different kinds
Also, my gsc, I’ve been sorta experimenting with the amount of nutes shes getting and I’ve had no unwanted reactions, her last 3 waters been mixed with food, regular strength, then half strength, and the very last one was full strength and she seems to be loving it!
Pictures or it didn’t happen. (I think I’ve waited my whole life for a reason to say that)
Its morning for her soon
Shes roughly 30 days into flower, I forgot to set the timer at light flip so I had to estimate the time but its within a few days probably just under 30
She looks absolutely beautiful. I’m completely distressed my attempt at LST failed and my plants are now all mangled and I hate it. So nice of me to dump it here with you, huh? Haha!
Have a great day!
Can I see your plants? They often look kinda mangled when u lst, this one did too, scroll up
I undid it all this morning, but I will still share pictures. I’m almost too embarrassed to do so and am kicking myself for not following my instinct! One lost it’s head.
U tie them down and let them grow from that position, let always looks weird n mangled until it starts to grow again
Yeah, I used pipe cleaners, but I undid it all so I can feel better about things. Ego: 1 kmac: 0
Here is a Kyle video - without the LST but it covers training / defoliating the plant for increased returns
And then here is a good visual on LST
I was trying to extend myself grace and unfortunately, my communication lacked. I’m unable to watch videos, I don’t even watch television or movies. At the moment my brain matter is acting like it has a concussion so I have to treat it as such, which means when I am unable to watch moving pictures and the like, it’s too much to process at one time and it exhausts me. Books, music, gardening, and writing are my way of life for now. Everything I do currently requires that I work in short bursts, hopefully that can convey. I know it’s hard to relate to if you aren’t experiencing it so I do appreciate your efforts.
Have you tried infusing cannabis into honey? This is my plan eventually.
