First indoor grow

Hey everyone. After a rough start these white widow autos from. Homegrown are starting to look good.
I’m wondering about the one on the right. Is it stretching to much? Should I lower the light?

I know topping isn’t generally recommended for autos, but I’m wondering if it would help.

(I had intended to do some LST, but life got in the way.)

Any advice would be appreciated!

What strains are are they ? it might be that one just has more sativa in it than the other. How old are they? they look pretty healthy and good to me the light looks to be close enough I usually keep mine within 14" to 20" from the top of my plants.

Auto’s do not stretch too much, that is the nice thing about them. Life- always gets in the way
Maybe you might try to just bend her over, little at a time. You do not have to bend her all in one shot or 1 day. Plants get softer after their sleep period so maybe just hook her right under the apical top and start pulling her down. Each day you can bend her a little more. This will open up the sub nodes for vertical growth and LST is done! Or just let her go! Some believe you get just as much bud from not touching an auto as training is SUPPOSED to create
BTW, white widow is a STRONG STRAIN…they can take a lot of punishment and still keep going

I would not top them. If height is a problem and the stalk is pliable enough I have seen people tie the top cola over a little bit a day to keep them out of the lights. Just remember eliminating stress at this point is maximizing yeild.

They are both White Widow autoflowers from Homegrown. I grew six of them outdoors. They went well, but they were much more short and compact.
I’m worried it could get to tall for this tent.

I don’t know how tall your tent is but the White Widow Auto should only get about 3 ft so if you can accommodate that and keep your light high enough to not burn it you can just let it grow if you don’t want to do some LST and Bend her over.

It’s 63", so I’m guessing its tall enough, barely.
I’m still tempted. Its only a month old.

@DollarBill Change of subject for a minute I just have to tell somebody I went to the dispensary in Missouri today to buy my wife and eight of something we haven’t had in a long time for her birthday they charged me $70.32 for 1/8 of lemon Royale. I asked him to point a gun at me why I paid so at least I felt like it was a proper robbery. I cannot believe they can charge those prices and run out a product. It just reinforces why great companies like homegrown Seed Company are worth their weight in gold ,to grow your own medicine.

@dmtscravey the new Recreational Dispensaries here in Arizona will be priced just like that aimed at Tourists

Yeah it’s ridiculous they charge that much. I just bought a pound of Lifter CBD 20% Smalls for $49 and it was delivered to my house yesterday. So you know the dispensaries are just robbing people

@dmtscravey I live on Oklahoma Arkansas border. Oklahoma going rate for 14 gram is 140 for top shelf product Arkansas is 160. Both states are paying between 2k and 2500 a pound for premium product. Basicly doubling there money minus expenses. Expenses can be high though just like growing. 70+ an eighth is plain robbery though.

When they first opened I went to the one in Cassville and it was only $50 1/8 and that was pricey but doable I thought for the convenience.

@dmtscravey in Oklahoma dispensarie licences are only 4500 so every little town has 2 to 4 dispensaries per gas station. Very much a suppy and demand market. In Arkansas licenses are over 400k so only a few in the state but very little competition so the high volume allows for them to make nice profit without gouging the consumer.

So turns out I am allergic to most Sativa strains I try. I did 5 puffs throughout the day and ended up having involuntary muscle spasms heart racing and Nausea for like an hour and a half. Thought I was going to end up in the emergency room but I hit a Moonroock a couple times and the 46% CBD slowed it down. Now I am fine this morning. Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Ouch that has to hurt. My daughter in law has adverse reactions to most sativa strains. The only ones she likes are Blue Dream and Mimosa. Other than that she sticks to strong indica strains.

Oddly enough now that you mention it I did smoke some Blue Dream not long ago and had no reaction whatsoever to it. So it must be a decent Sativa for those of us who are allergic to most of them.

Wow, crazy prices. My wife is a DISCOUNT shopper and buys from about 5 different dispensaries. She manages to pick up $29 for 1/8, $49 for 1/4 and sometimes $60-69 for 1/2. They sell SHAKE here at a discount. Pretty good stuff if you know your strains but you gotta be “in the know”
