Visually impaired grower. Not sure what to look for

So I dragged out the digital scope, promptly dropped it and a heavy iron stand I’m using to hold it, into the lower branches, breaking a couple of small ones of little consequence. They’re residing in a paper bag to dry for the moment. Popcorn buds….

I did manage a couple of tric pics after much frustration, trying to focus the damned thing with my eyes. Are we having fun yet? I need to spark a fattie. Lol

it is easy to get messed up on vertical height as we really do not know how much stretch the plant has till we get there
tricks and tips
when plants get older, it is much harder for them to bend…they tend to crack / break instead. That is mainly due to us trying to bend them over in 1 shot. I use garden staples, like 8-12 inches long, pipe cleaners and string. First, plant an anchor, attach the string and add the pipe cleaner. bend the pipe cleaner around the branch in multiple locations (medium, higher spots on the stems) and gently begin the bend. A little each day, especially right after dark when they are more tender. Just tighten the pipe cleaners and eventually you will bend over the branch/es
DO not be afraid to move the exhaust fan to the outside of the tent…it will not hurt

Heat from fan is not in tent, plug is right there, hose goes right into top of tent, no need to get more support poles, not in way of light, negative pressure
I use number 4 for myself

Yup, yup. We are pretty much on the same wavelength. I use a ducted inlet hose, the other end of which is attached to the front of my window AC, so that hose eats up one corner of the tent. My exhaust fan and filter are in the suggested number one position. Im thinking of converting it to a number two style, with the fan on top the tent, and the filter stuffed into the upper right side to top line, with the hose going out the side and over the edge onto the top, and connected to the blower. It keeps the fan up and out of 5he way, and gets me back the central area of the top for the light to be tucked up tight if needed. Not that I’m complaining about apparent yield. I think for the second crop I’m doing ok. These are just next steps figured out as I went.

So on day 65, after a friend with better eyes looked at the trichomes, we decided to chop. Very fragrant, very sticky buds. I. hung complete plants, less fan leaves, to dry,

Meanwhile, about four days before the chop, an accident. A piece of equipment dropped through a plant, broke two minor limbs down low. They were cut off, and bagged in a paper shopping bag, as the tent was then still lit. I just ground and rolled a bud or two from the damaged limbs last night. It’s sticky, dank blueberry, with a cerebral early phase, and nice trailing high. The potency is well above my first attempt with the seeds, and has room for better light and nuts management on the next go round.
