after finding out that the runtz was not a fast flowering strain but an auto i planted the two cuttings in 3 gal pots. poured some rootjuice under. lets hope they come back to life and give some sweet fruits.

Being auto’s the clones are the same age as the mother! You most likely inhibited the mother to reach her full potential and the cuttings stunted due to the time it takes to set up roots: keep your fingers crossed you made a mistake :yin_yang:

the runtz clones are in the bin.
lets see if the slh clones will live.

Sorry to hear that, you cost yourself on the main plant by removing those nodes, Double Whammy! I only clone photo periods! You can give plant time to recover then all you lost was time :yin_yang:

yeah mate, i wouldnt have cut them if i knew they were autos. seeds were sold as fast flowering version. which is photoperiod but just fast flowering.
hopefully the energy spared from those will accumulate on the remaining flower sites  :metal:

yes, I would only clone photos… And if I were planning on taking cuts I would probably drop regs… Maybe get a stinky, robust growing male with a perfect structure. More of a seed to harvest guy but definitely get back into it if I ever move somewhere I can grow outdoors.

this is how they look after 27 days
got at least 4-5 weeks for the autos to finish, and then flowering will start!
looks like it it will be worth it

Looks great… Looks like they’re about ready for some light and to start some veg… Should be in great shape in a month.

change of plans.
cant veg for as long as i hoped to. due to some developments at home and predicting by the springs onset, the weather will be pretty hot this summer I had to speed up things.

So i did full denodding and training yesterday.
I am flipping the mother and the daughters after they recover.

Not so good side is the runtz and purple haze autos are gonna go 12/12 for their last bit of journey. maybe it will be good, who knows.

@Capellini_Corti I like your plan. Fast Version plants are photo and you can take clones just fine. They only need a week or two less to flower to be finished.
I only do one grow a year because my consumption is small, so I am only growing 4 to 5 months. The last few years I have tried to start with an auto first, then switch to 12/12 when the auto was done, but I just couldn’t get one started. Good luck. Looking like you have it under control.

So you must have a decent storing method? :yin_yang: Mine begin to loose the smell over time but the head remains: whats your method?

@Chasworks First I dry usually 11-14 days depending, then I cure for about a month in the grove bags, then I store long term in ball jars vacuum sealed. I keep some of it in a smaller bag for immediate use.

Thanks for the response. I dry climate controlled for about a week: the i brown bag it in a cooler for a week or 2 then cure a month and store in ball jars. :yin_yang:

I am looking at the Cannatrol might start saving for it: any thoughts on their product: i live in the tropics so dresser draw in ball jars doesn’t work that well :yin_yang::palm_tree:
