I’m out of likes for the day because I’m a rebel, but that’s okay because, Hello Emerald beauties! I’d have to just sit and stare at them all day.
That’s a good looking very organized grow there, The plants all look healthy and happy! They love you I can tell.
Thank you! They aren’t as gorgeous as yours yet, but I like having them around.
Yahoo! My first grow (since 1980’s), this is White Widow auto. It is 10 week old, and I’m not noticing any trichomes yet? In the close ups, I see small white bumps on the leaves…is that what they look like when they are just starting? Thank you for any reply’s, and Happy New Years Eve!
She’s looking really good @Kris
You’ll need a scope or jewelers loupe to get a close look at the trichomes.
This is what you’re looking for:
I can see trichomes just from clicking on your first pic and zooming in (doubleclick).
@Kris there are jewelers loops and small handheld microscopes on Amazon for under $15. HUGE variety for not a lot of money. It really helped me harvest at the right time - as well as monitor things during the flower cycle.
Thank you :). I think I have an ‘operator error’ problem LOL. I have a digital magnifier that will magnify up to 1000X. I obviously need a LOT more practice.
Oh yahoo! Thank you for taking a good look. As I just mentioned to Bill…my digital magnifier will magnify up to 1000X, it’s just so hard trying to hold it still and take a picture really close up.
You just made my day though…thanks again!
Thank you for the pictures! I do have a digital magnifier that will magnify up to 1000X I just need to practice more and figure out how the heck to hold it still when trying to take a pic. Happy New Year!
Trichomes on 3 week old Super Hash Thai flowers.
Several weeks to go
I used a clip on macro lens on this iPad
I am jealous of all those grand daddy purple pics. I have tried it several times here outdoor. It appears to not like the rain.
Here in eastern Oklahoma it is hard to grow GDP outdoors without getting really loose airy buds. I feel your pain.
You and me both. The want is strong with that one.
Too humid, windy, or?
Humidity Wind Heat Insects you name it. People are moving here from all over the country setting up 20+ acre grows thinking our unlimited numbers laws are going to make them rich. But soon find out it is not the cake walk they imagined. Indoor growing is taking off though with dipensiariys paying 2000 + for true top shelf product.
Forgive my ignorance. Are y’all high humidity or none?
Hey @Kris I have the same issue. So, what I do is cut a small piece of a leaf so I can put it on a table and use a magnifier (I have a 60X that does the job nicely). That allows you to keep things steady while viewing without “destroying” anything on the plant.
