Seed shells stuck on

So all five of my seeds broke ground today. I have 2 that have the shell still on the plants, the other 3 opened up normally. The shells feel hard. Don’t want to handle them as they are so small and fragile. Will the plants eventually shed them on their own?

Usually they will. you can mist your plants to get the shell moist, that will help. You don’t want to rip it off tho, you may damage the cotyledon leaves (the first little round ones), and that’s what it uses for energy until the roots develop.
