Thank you for the feedback. I’ve ruined a whole crop before and I’m still anxious about it.

I been ruining crops for 50 years…I like continuity…

Hahahaha! I’m grateful for your ruining crops, it allows me to learn. :star_struck:

Wish I had a picture right now but it is lights out time. I built a humidifier yesterday (after a week of 30% humidity) and had my humidity up to 50% in less than a hour. McGivered it out of a 55 gallon barrel, water pump, centrifugal fan and a air filter pad. My plants had stopped growing for a week but just with one day of proper humidity they jumped a couple inches with tons of new growth on the tips. I am just starting pre flower 3 days after light flip and had to get things under control quick.

You should have videoed that. MacGuyvering is the best.

I will get a picture tonight when the lights come back on. Believe me the McGivering will be self explanitory. Hope it holds up better than my cloner did. That thing worked great for a month but once the water got funked up I could not get it clean enough to use again. Ended up buying a Clone King will see how that works out.

Best inventions (and millions) have been made from something that works for us every day Janes and Joes.
ANYTIME anyone accomplishes something…get it out for all to see. If it helps 1 person, it is more than successful

Sorry for not being sorry. You shouldn’t have used the words, “funked up.”

As promised

first picture is just an overall view when I go to clean it I will cut the slot on the top wider maybe 10 in to make it easier to fill with buckets. second picture is of filter media tied up to trap air behind water curtain. What you dont see is a small 140 gpm water pump with the discharge line fastened dehind the filter with holes drilled in it to keep filter soaked. last picture is discharge humidity up 25percent from intake. Humidity is naturally high right now 50% becuse lights just came on and heat discharge fan has not kicked in yet. Within 30 min of lights on humidity was droping to low 30s in the room now with no controler it settles in around 60% I have an inkbird on the way to put inline for the fan and pump (be here in 2 more days) so i do not have to switch them manually at light changes.

That’s amazing, @Jared!!! I bet you could sell your plans.

If it works for a few months with no problems I might try to get with someone and do a DIY for it if there seems to be any interest. It definitely would be free though I could never charge anyone for showing how to cut up a barrel.

Well, just make sure it’s reciprocal energy, you know? Otherwise, “Pay Up, Friend.”

That’s pretty badass rig you got there ! and I kind of agree with @kmac03 you should throw those plans out on the internet or charge a couple dollars for them

Let me know if you ever need an NDA, I’ll get you one free of charge. Plans like that need an NDA. Think of it as leaving something behind for your children, grandchildren, etc.

Have any of you veterans/public safety people ever had EMDR therapy? I’m receiving mixed feedback about it.

@kmac03 I’ve never had it myself but I have colleagues and friends that have had success with it. One of my best friends had really bad PTSD from Iraq and he did 12 sessions of 50 minute EMDR treatments and he no longer needs to take meds for it and is mostly “cured.” He still has a bad day here and there and night terrors on occasion but he’s much better off after trying the therapy.

I appreciate your input. I’m also not too proud to admit I’m scared to go, but I need the healing. I have a lot of ghosts that walk with me. Some people I know went and followed through. Others, not so much. However, I guess it’s all up to, am I being forced to do it? No. I go at my own free will, that’s where healing lies. But, damn, can’t I just sit and observe that nest?!

So now I know what it is, thanks. I live with the monsters under my bed. I made peace with them but they have not all made peace with me. The visions have plagued me for most of my life. I know them but never get used to them. They only bother me when I sleep and what they most they do is wake me and leave me a little trembled.
