I no longer soak my seeds. I have drowned way to many, and that costs $. Now I just plant them in a red cup with coco and soil and make sure they are damp. Spray a squirt of 6.5 to7.Ph. twice a day. Seedling dome with100 watt LED and heat pad. Seems to work fine for me. I still think paper towel method is good for sorting out the bad seeds. But what the heck…I like the excitement. : )
One other point of interest. PH meter. Make sure you calibrate your meter. 6.86 test.
I bought a cheap meter and found out I was watering 2.5 to 4.0 PH. I can tell you…that is not good for plants. Buy a good PH meter.
