Gelato in first tent

The Males usually mature faster i’m told: yes i agree he has traits worth saving in my opinion. Size and nice branching. :ballot_box_with_check:

Yes he is perfect, except for the gender.

Having grown only one plant at a time, I get attached to each one. It is emotionally difficult to get rid of one, especially when it is growing so beautifully. Down to three now.

I’ve lost a plant during a grow didn’t replace it as they were about 5 weeks in: was disappointed i too dropped from 4 to 3! The next grow i did auto’s to be sure the Harvest last until the Next :yin_yang:

This grow was supposed to start with an auto, but I couldn’t get a seed to pop. :grimacing:
Sometimes you just have to go with the flow.

Topped a couple days ago Gelato and Muddy (MD). stapled Gelato. Plants are coming along nicely. Ru is showing some tip burning; probably to much Chicken Poo in the soil. We’ll have to see how it progresses.

Temp at mid day 84 deg. RH 54%, and ppfd at around 600.
You sure can tell that these are different cultivars.

@Chasworks What cultivar?

Gelato is rapidly passing Rue. Muddy (MD) needs a watering.

Those Auto’s were American Kush Auto & Anesthesia Auto: :yin_yang: Grew Nicely in the Earth Boxes, not so well in the 45 gal container :ballot_box_with_check:

Here we are now with the plants doing nicely. I re-potted the MD this morning. Actually, it is the same pot. I pull it out and add some fresh soil to the bottom and fill in the sides. This gives some fresh soil and nutes for the rest of the run without adding any top dressing. This plant is male and I only need it to go until it starts to open up the pollen sacs. At that point, I will collect some pollen for Rembranting a few choice buds, theoretically, as I have never done it before.
Gelato is really spreading her wings. She got a slow start but decided she is happy. They all got water (rainwater) ph to 7.1, with about 1/3 strenghth Recharge.

You definitely need to separate the male or else he will pollenate the whole tent! :ballot_box_with_check: Plants are looking rich in color and healthy: stay the Course its working! I grow differently but respect all ways that work. :yin_yang::100:

The Gelato from HCC on the left is spreading out nicely, Rue on the bottom right has been passed up, and Muddy, top, just keeps crankin’ along.
Ppfd is at 550-650, RH is 64%, and temp at mid-day is 82 deg. Lights are still at 80% and 16" from the canopy.
I am thinking of flipping soon. Rue’s genetics are unknown, but the leaves seem a little more sativa than Gelato. I don’t like my plants to get rootbound before flip and I can see a couple feeler roots sticking out of the bottom of Gelato, so pretty soon.

Watered yesterday with Recharge, about 3/4 strength. First grow in a tent, first time using Recharge, first time more than one cultivar in the same grow. Always seems like there is going to be something different. That’s okay, we are human and we adapt. That’s our thing. LOL

Yes with all the Variables and Genetics its always a adventure. :sunny::palm_tree::sunglasses:

That is Gelato (left), sreading out nicely. I couldn’t get the whole grow in the pic, the format wouldn’t allow all of the pixels, so we can’t see the fight side of Rue, but that’s okay.
I have started the countdown. !6.5 hrs today, 16 tomorrow. Looks like I will have to put Muddy outside soon. Maybe the extra hours will help him retain his composer until the 3rd or 4th week of flower. Pots are feeling pretty light, have to water again today.
