Wha does wet versus dry mean?

I’m beyond new here and as an old hippie need some schooling.

When you harvest, you can WET trim or Dry trim. Wet trim - cutting of the fan leaves and some sugar leaves while the plant is still fresh / just chopped. Dry trim - hanging your plant till dry and then trimming the excess leaves so you have only bud left
Watering - water dry to wet - means wait until the plants substrate is dry and then water till wet…usually a 10% runoff

What I’ve been doing is sort of doing both. I trim alot of the big fan leaves throughout flowering to allow the plants to put more energy towards the buds. When I harvest, I trim most of the leaves, but leave some of the smaller leaves to allow a slower drying process. I think it makes it smoother smoke. Then trim smaller leaves off when dry.

The slower the dry, the better the weed. The longer the cure *2 months) the better the smoke

I do the same thing @Highwayman. When it’s harvest time, I usually have only sugar leaves and very few fan leaves - these get cut off throughout the growing process.
