Washing Harvest before drying

Hey guys,
It’s been a while since I’ve been on here but I’m coming up on harvesting my recent grow and while looking into drying techniques I came across baud washing. Has anyone tried this? It makes sense in theory, I just don’t know how I feel about dunking my buds in water.

@Topher85 it works. Just use distilled water. Just enough to rinse. It rinses off any residue from foliar feeding or pests.

Just a dunk and a little shake for a few seconds then take it out and give it a few shakes to get the excess water off.

After that you can hang it right up or use a drying net/rack with a fan directly on it for the first few days then take it out of the direct airflow and dry as normal.

For extreme cases such as contamination h202 rinsing can be done as well or even what’s called a water cure.
