Using Dehumidifier water to water plants

Has anyone used dehumidifier water to water there plants? Growing in soil and thought I’d use the water from my dehumidifier.

I just googled it , some say yes and others say no some say mix it 50/50 . The no people say there could be bad spores in the air that you’ll pick up and end up feeding to your plants . They also say you shouldn’t use it on anything you’re going to eat. So its a toss up on whether its good or bad. Try it on one plant see what happens.

You need to check the PH of the water it produces. The dehumidifier will produce water that is a product of it’s environment. I have one in my house crawlspace and the PH of the water it produces is about 5.8. You may need to amend the PH, so be careful…
