@Cannaman22 after a grow and harvesting we are more or less saturated with what we grew and likely somewhat tolerantly immune to the grow. you’ll like every plant you ever chop much better after a good burped 3 week jar cure. Try smoking some as soon as you dry it enough to smoke. Then lay off what you grew while it cures 3 weeks and you’ll see a big difference in quality

Also, figure out where you’re going to hang the plants to dry. Ideally this should be a place that’s dark, under 70 degrees, with an RH stable around 55-60%, and has just a little bit of air circulation but not directly blowing on the flowers.
If you can maintain those conditions perfectly, you could almost store it that way as long as you want. This should put you into a nice slow dry around 10-14 days hanging.
This round I was fighting to keep my RH above 40%, even with 2 humidifiers running in a small bedroom. I heat my house with a wood stove, and me and the dogs like it nice and toasty like 80F if it’s cold out. I ended up having to keep the window open a crack and that did me no favors on the RH.
Point is, figure this out and test it ahead of time. Or you might end up like me stuck in trim jail for the weekend. My trim help already made other plans cause I told em it was going to be ready next week.

See you got a trim bin @CurrDogg420, they are nice aren’t they, how many you dry at a time??? Lol I’d get a tent an put in the room for drying!!! My basement stays like 55Rh year round an I keep my Temps in the 60’s, I have a side room upstairs that isn’t sealed up very good so I cut a 6" hole in the wall an I pull my fresh air for there to the basement in the tent, lol works pretty damn good, I usually just need dehumidifier an no humifiers, but all your grows are beautiful my friend nice growing

@Hippy1978 Mike, I do like the ergonomics of the trim bin - sitting with it on my lap seems to be the most comfortable way for me to work. I spent at least 6 hours last night and had no pain anywhere. Of course the kick ass weed gummies might have helped too.
Also, that’s exactly my plan for next time. I’m gonna spend some Christmas cash on a small tent dedicated to drying. My basement would be a great spot in terms of heat and humidity, but it’s too damn bright down there.

Beautiful… I liked using the trim tray… Ive only used it once so far but it has a shitton of kief in it already.

@DollarBill I got it jarred and was thinking four weeks. Seems I may have gotten it to dry. I am thinking to put a piece of orange peel in for the curing. What’s your thoughts. Bummed on yield for first six and in phase two with the other ladies. I darn sure hope I get better or better Gentics.

You just reminded me of 1978 in a cab in SF with my brother, a friend of his, and the friend’s wife. I went there for a visit. I was in the front seat with the driver and they torch a joint and start passing it, which I had never expected. I was thinking “really, with a stranger driving the cab? They do that here?” My brother passes it to me and, being a well brought up young man, I offer it to the driver and he takes a hit. We passed it around till we got to my hotel.
Times have changes though, haven’t they?
