Sweet potato tea for potassium?

my wife was boiling sweet potatoes & i wondered if i save the cooking liquid to make a tea? i know sweet potatoes are a good source of potassium. but would it be beneficial to plants?

i saved it, & ph checked at 6… so next watering will get some.

make sure you check the ph before you use it as Ph floats as time goes on

i diluted with some rain barrel water & so far is holding at 6.7, i didnt use it yet, we got downpours again last night.
