Love that name! She’s just a cutie patutie! During the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, she shows up skinnier than a rail, possibly a stray or someone stopped feeding her! She has a forever home now. I feed her on schedule a little at a time in the beginning, and now she’s got meat on her & looking much healthier. She even has her own bedroom on the deck. She’s a true princess! Thank you…she really is a special kitty.

@DollarBill I’ve had loads of seed do that. It happens when the shell of the seed is super tough and isn’t lost in the soil. I always pull it off after a few days if it doesn’t let the cotyledons sprout out so the plant doesn’t die. No light means no photosynthesis. Most of my plants this time did that. Some even still have the seed on their cotyledons.

@DollarBill sounds like you might have to perform an emergency surgery on yours too if the seed doesn’t let the cotyledons out.

@MDBuds to late i already pulled it and planted another. it’s my hope one or even both Columbian seeds to be males. and after i harvest these winter grow buds GG #4 Fems. i’ll try and pollinated a limb or three. if they turn out Females i’ll just add them to the jars. 29 Weeks from now

@DollarBill I hope that works out for you. I’m planning my own hybrid right now. Have some agent orange regular on the way from HCC and I’m planning some special things for a few of my other strains.
Will probably pick up some Moby Dick regular here soon too along with the Hawaii X Purple Skunk regular. I have plans. So many plans.
I like to tweak and perfect my medicinal strains so I have one for each activity. One for exercise, one for day use pain, one for creativity that’s good for music and writing or veging out playing games, one for night use pain, one for sleep and pain, and I usually keep one around for depression and anxiety because it’s nice to get silly and giggly from time to time.

@MDBuds we have collected so many good seeds though i got really excited at how much the HGCC GG #4 produced and i’ve had GG from other seed companies. even as a hybrid i’d like a Columbo/GG set in seeds for my go to. From HG next i want Afghan or Hindu Fems. guess i’ll have my wife flip a coin which. i have to grow several strains to accomplish what on me needs a fix or i’ll grow tolerate at even the Highest Tier Known

@DollarBill that’s why my main focus is on the terpenes when I breed. They have just as much, I dare say maybe even more, medicinal use as thc and cbd. It’s why all of my strains have high resin content as well. Even if the thc doesn’t get maxed out you can still get anxiolytic, analgesic, and soporific etc… effects with high resin strains high in the right terpenes. It’s why I look at the smell and taste profile because it gives you a good idea of what terps are present in higher quantities in the strain. Like pinene for example. It smells and tastes piney and woody, but it helps with anxiety inflammation pain etc… and it also helps combat the short term memory effects of high THC.
Sorry I’m getting carried away. I nerd out hard about cannabis.
