Here is my new space. I didn’t fully think things through, but this is where I am now.

If I were to find some hooks or something, I’d like to suspend the ceiling of the previous tent from my ceiling and leave room for the vent above.

I’m ordering some blackout curtains as it dawned on me to utilize the sun that comes in that window and it gets really dark at night.

Run the vent out the window using one of those a/c vent holder things on the bottom half of the window.

I’d appreciate any and all input, please. @Jared, what do you think?

4 in of space should be plenty of clearance for the vent. If that is a south facing window it might be worth it to incorporate it in your tent wall. Going to be a lot of cold creeping in that window in winter though. Your room heat will not surround your tent so you would have to hook up some kind of temperature controlled vent fan to keep warm air coming in when lights are out. If room allows I would probably move tent away from window and grow plants that are more temperature tolerent in the window. As far as the venting through the window goes your plan sounds good if that is a second story non accessible window.

Just be aware there are more people peaking in your windows than anyone can imagine. Knowledge (from uncovered window) + opportunity (from unsecured window)= your crop disappearing. Not trying to be a doomonger but a nice elderly person dosent even make a thief hesitate a second.

Did you say you were living in a duplex? Did you move? If you have an attic above you I would probably vent into it.

I live in S.E. MO and it is cold here I vent directly back into my fresh air return for my furnace and recycle my warm air, I use a large carbon filter and run my exhaust fan on med-low. I’m on my 3rd grow and I haven’t had any of my guests mention the smell so far, so I thank it’s working.

I understand. I took the tent down thinking it would be better for the bigger plants, not realizing that I needed to also reflect light. I bought this to seal the window, do you think it’s worth it? I could just utilize the blackout curtains 24/7 and keep them out of the tent. I could seal the curtains around the perimeters of the window to assist, right? Except, then where do I ventilate?

Thank you for that! :v:t2: :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s our mistake when we don’t acknowledge and understand that there is sacredness in life, with some holding that honor more than others. It’s our lesson to learn when we think we can take on the energy of our Creator. May karma be swift, and justice served appropriately to any and all that words such as this effect, for the greatest good of all.

Please know these words are directed to you specifically. Haha! Much love and peace! :v:t2: :cyclone: :sunny: :full_moon: :heartpulse:
