Mother plant from vegetative cycle

I would like to keep a choice plant for a Mother plant.
Is there a way of taking plant out of 18hr veg state without triggering Flower cycle? Or What if I wanted to make some clone’s from her? (I know we’re here to sell seeds so bugger off!) Lmao
Seriously I might be having a bit of dementia creep in or Alzheimer’s, but I know this stuff, I know I do. But can’t access it. Ohfkit, im sorry guys.

A “MOTHER” must live in VEG state to prevent flowering. Either just clip your clones or keep her under 18hr light and she will not flower.

You can cut some clones before you flip her to flower.

You can do 16/8 15/9 or even 14/10 to keep a mother alive without triggering flower. 13 hours and under will trigger it depending on pheno or light sensitivity even though 12/12 is the common rule of thumb.

As long as you have the proper DLI the mother will remain alive and healthy so you can continue taking clones.
