I wish I could say you are spot on with the South. Sadly, I think we see climate change more starkly as some. The past three years have all had a frost the first week of May. Additionally the three weeks leading up to Labor Day have been insanely hot and dry. Then its fear the frost time again. I wasn’t growing last season, so I can’t say for sure. Two years ago, 103F to first frost was two weeks.

So although I wouldn’t say you’re wrong, it’s not that fairy tale of predictability.
