I’m a true beginner with a Girl Scott Cookie clone… growing outdoors in a pot.
what does auto flower mean?
what does top your plants actually mean, the steps involved?

My plant has been budding for 2 months about… didn’t know to pay attention to the dates

I.know this an old post but I know the answers.
Is your clone an auto? As don’t normally clone. The reason being they don’t rely on a change of light schedule. They just flower automatically after 3 or 4 weeks. So the clone would already be the same age (flowering wise) as the mother.
Also because of what I’ve said cloning and topping don’t usually do any good. Topping is gonna stunt the auto when it’s very time sensitive. It needs to grow as much as possible before flowering. It just means to take the top growth tip off or cut at a desired node. Usually 5th. Node being sets of leaves.
Google and you tube will have detailed answers. I’d suggest mainlining and Lollypopping. You may need Google for that but it’s where I learn what I know. I think of a question and just as it. Best of luck. Soory about the bump you probably know this now. Happy holidays
