Do you think when something is given to you…meaning you didn’t put forth any effort to produce it, that it means the same to you energetically? For instance, if I keep asking for and getting my needs met without getting up off the couch (no energy involvement outside of a passing thought), chances are I will get bored easily than if I actually got up off of the couch, got my clothes on, got in the car to go get whatever it is.

I have no idea if this translates well, but this lead from my studying this morning. Thought equals energy, energy equals thought. If I think it so, then it is while there always has to be reciprocation.

(Yes, I can make myself go in circles, it’s maddening)

Much love and peace be with y’all!

Things are always more rewarding when you work for them. Not only because it creates a positive mind set and work ethic, but also because it helps keep dopamine production healthy in the brain. Constant instant gratification and over stimulation has proven to lead to issues with dopamine production and causes anhedonia. Moral of the story, turn your TV off every once in a while and work for something. Your brain and body will thank you. Lol

I can’t speak about that particular brand but it looks intriguing. That being said, I HAVE bought “Hemp” or CBDa (Flower) and then decarboxalayted said flower and mixed it with something I’ve grown (like Bubba Kush or Northern Lights) to make my own Indica leaning 1:1 type butter or tincture (that way I can control the CBD ratio to the THC ratio, etc.) That being said, you sure CAN use the flower in your butter or tinctures… Just make sure to decarb the flower first as you would marijuana. Best of luck! :seedling:

PS: For any premade edibles or such, I always see if it’s made with Isolates or Full Spectrum Extracted (or full Terpene profile). It can make all the difference with some folks… Isolates vs FECO. :peace_symbol:

@kanashiihawk feco is far superior imo. I wish there was an easier home method that didn’t break the bank having to purchase co2 extractors or stills.

It sucks that anything over 100f causes terpenes to evaporate.

@MDBuds This is something I LOVE about the MB2 (Magical Butter Machine). It has a wide variety of temps and settings and you can use anything in there from alcohol (Crude Alcohol oil) to high quality sesame or hemp oil and you can add any additional keif or hash or terpenes (?) and go from there.

But yes, that is one thing I still cannot truly make at home is the CO2 FECO /Oil. Great stuff, mixes well with anything (or on it’s own)

Right, I agree. We have never been a family that watched television, I always made our kids do stuff. But, the concept, really, is the same no matter what creates the impetus, you know? It’s still energy, just varying levels and degrees. It still requires reciprocation of some sort, no matter what. What’s reciprocating back is up to me.

For instance, if I sit lamenting about money, while doing NOTHING (not even thinking of how it’s going to come to be, aka no action, not even a thought), what’s going to happen? I’m going to sit there for a week lamenting about money, becoming depressed because of the lack, and then feel sorry for myself is what is going to happen. What am I attracting like a magnet?

@kmac03 that was what I was referring to about the work ethic. You gotta put the work in to get the results you want. Train your thoughts to become actions etc.

God, the universe, karma, whatever you want to call it, helps those who help themselves.

I personally call it a positive work ethic. Visualize, plan, act.

@kanashiihawk I’ll have to check out the MB2.

Haha! Nice to meet you on my path. That’s where I was headed. I study Kabbalah (solitary) and no matter what path you follow, there has been one resounding message:

40 years of nothing? Well, I guess our ancestors thought they were royalty and could sit and do nothing. So, G-d was like, “Hold my beer” basically. Oh, you lack faith? How do you walk across the floor? How do you know you will make it to work, unscathed with absolute certainty?

I mean absolutely no disrespect. I’m applying this to my personal path.

@kmac03 no disrespect taken. I’m somewhat of an omnist so I seek truths in all things. Not a follower of any one philosophy or creed but a patron of all so to speak.

I am, too. I’ve been solitary in beliefs my whole life, but I love everyone the same. Thanks for listening to my rant.

Candy thermometer and/or Magical Butter machine. I’m currently contemplating some I’ve had sitting in my cupboard as I cannot do tinctures with alcohol. I mean, I can, but it hurts the gut.

@kmac03, it’s like Newtons First Law of Motion " Newton’s First Law of Motion states that a body at rest will remain at rest unless an outside force acts on it, and a body in motion at a constant velocity will remain in motion etc, etc…

But yes, it makes sense, moving our bodies and souls “forward” (in something anything, any, passion or love) keeps us moving forward to better knowledge and serenity. However, stagnation breeds inactivity which breeds decay and well, negativity and the rest… All cultures throughout all time have known this…

I hear things people say, even if it’s slam in the middle of their sentence, and songs pop out all the time. You’re welcome.

Here are a couple of Oil Infused (Non-alcohol) Tinctures for those who cannot or choose not to use alcoholic products of any kind.
https://www.weednews.co/how-to-make-cannabis-infused-sesame-oil/
also…

https://www.safeaccessnow.org/non_inhalation_delivery_methods (Scan down the list…I use sesame seed oil in place of MCT or Organic Coconut oil)
finally…
https://cannabisspatula.com/how-to-make-cannabis-infused-oil-canna-oil-recipe-and-video/

Again, you can use Sesame Oil in any of these recipes (the nice thing about the Magical Butter machine is that you just dump in your decarboxylated weed, your carrier oil, set the time and temperature and walk away, and voila! (I really need to do a darn video review on the MB2 machine and a couple of my tincture recipes! Besides, it would be cool to see a 57 yr old Grandma doing some cannabis vids!)

Just kidding! While I’d LOVE to do that, because I grow and use medicinally, I’d probably want to be a little more discreet. Maybe when I am like 75 I will make whatever darn video I want! ha-ha! Or else like a few other clever lads and lass’s here, perhaps I will just put my pets in the videos.

Make a video, Lady! I will listen and watch what I can (grey matter getting better through growing) I have editing software, it would just take me a bit longer than most. I’d love to see you.

Now you can see what my crazy self looks like. Me and one of my Rottweilers (Yes I do large breed rescue as well as Foster and have several Rotties of my own)

Yes, the dog is nearly as big as me, that was when he was just a year and a half, he outweighs me now, but then I am really petite…Like 5’2 and around 110.
Believe me friend @kmac03, you’re not the only fun/unique/cool one here, You can tell by my handle I’m into Egyptology, Medical Sciences and Healing. I am a veteran a mother and a warrior for those who are treated unfairly or unjustly. I really got into Cannabis and helping others- about 8 yrs ago when I was suddenly hit with adult onset epilepsy and was really let down by modern medicine and especially “Big Pharma”. I decided to go more natural and was guided by a mentor who was a really cool person in the medical field who was an awesome soul. (He passed on to the Field of Reeds 2 years ago from Cancer) but I was an avid apprentice. Although there is ALWAYS more to know.
Thanks for lending me your ear! Free goodies for all > :seedling: :wine_glass: :peace_symbol:
