Help with stuck growth

Hey guys, i have managed to sprout a couple of seeds and both just stopped growing as soon as i transferred them to the jiffy pallets.

The sprouts were around 2cm long, so i dig a small hole and put them in, leaving the sprout all covered in soil and the seed barely below soil, like 1mm thin.

What are the most common causes for this to happen and how can i get it fixed for my next seeds? I think these ones are ruined :frowning:

try starting seeds directly in the jiffy pallets.

I have tried the next seed directly in the jiffy pallet and it worked fine, thanks for the suggestion.

I also checked inside the old jiffy pallets, the ones i have put the sprouts and the sprouts were completely gone, like, absorbed by its soil. Any ideas what went wrong there? Maybe too much water?

yes, too much water i would guess. then rotted away.
