HELP? 6 Inch 440 CFM Inline Fan with Speed Controller

This is my fan:

VIVOSUN 6 Inch 440 CFM Inline Fan with Speed Controller

Guess what is a couple of weeks outside of warranty? My problem is it’s making a grinding noise and I want to take it down and see if I can fix it. Taking it down is no problem as I wanted to get it out of there and re-position the light anyway. Are these things normally fixable if I open it all the way up? If so, can I buy parts?

The actual motor has the bearings pressed in using a special machine. If the bearings are making noise, for $70 buy a new unit. If the fan is rubbing the cowl, watch this youtube video. Ignore everything till he gets to the part to trim the plastic cowl

Thanks for saving the day! I’ll probably end up buying another when I can, but here’s to hoping I can fix it.
