420 mendocino sts is that a strain?
Mendocino is one of my wifes favāsā¦what is the stsā¦a male flower spray? Silvers?
Yes you sray all the nodes on a branch or whole plant everyday until it begins to flower yes two part siverās
no its for feminized breeding you spray all the nodes in beginning of 12/12 until it starts to show pollen sacks
I just got my gibberelic acid and I make a paste. I dab it with a paint brush directly on the sites I want to switch. I have a Bubba Kush and GDP photo that were off the charts and I revegged. I am waiting for them to reec the point where I will flip, then treat. I have a friend who makes STS and he will send some to me. I may ask if he can leave the active silver portion out so I can add it when I am ready to use it. I struggle with colloidal silver for some reason. Same thing with clonesā¦they just do not like me
I know @MDBuds got his own machine of sorts so I think he is marking some silverā¦Maybe I will ask him. A little CS, A little GAā¦somethings gotta work. Gee, years ago, we just sprayed with CS and the male sacks just POPPEDā¦Must be all the hybridizationā¦I only want these 2 strains and maybe some of the new 30:1 cbd I have and red 20:1 CBDā¦I no longer breed, it is time and space consuming. I have a breeding partner and we have our own strain (4 yrs in the makingā¦still tweaking it)
@Mrb53004 I do make my own. I make two forms of colloidal silver. 1 for consumption which is just basic CS. 1 specifically for cannabis breeding that is cold ābrewedā so to speak so it slows down the ionic exchange and you get smaller nanno particles that more effectively penetrate the cell wall and allow the silver to deionize the copper cofactor in the cells which neutralizes it and blocks its ability to allow ethylene to difuse.
@Mrb53004 Iād be more than happy to send you some of my breeding CS though. I just got that temp controller today and I canāt tell you how grateful I am. Itās going to help my breeding immensely.
@Mrb53004 also, years ago CS was closer to ionic silver and they had better quality practices to make it. These days they just strip silver as fast as they can and call it CS just because it has silver in it. You need silver nanno particles 10 nm or less to get the most effective use for breeding which requires a slow cool process. These days they heat it to get it done faster which results in larger particle sizes up to 100-300 nm which is not effective for breeding because itās too large to penetrate the cell wall and neutralize the copper cofactor.
Thats all im worried about is my temps its gonna be hard bc when i get my disability check I know how to buy 200° culinary alcohol to make oil for my mom & its $125 a gal. & i need to & i was supposed to buy 2 intakes with filters & one exhaust but my moms cancer comes first its like fk i stop the meds that were legit killing me & bam before I can recover my mom finds out she has cancer but I think God helped me get this far to help my mom with oil
@Godshelper any more details on the cancer? If you donāt want to discuss it here you can pm me. I can give you a terpene profile and suggested strains for fighting certain types of cancers. The amount of information we have these days with how to treat cancers with cannabis is insane and what weāve all been hoping is currently being proven by endocrinologists working with oncologists in expansive studies.
I love that idea. Maybe others agree
You are very welcome my friendā¦I would love to try your silver and would be very pleased to accept a bottle / jar. One for personal and one for plants
I am also close to finished on my colloidal micelles Itās like a nano particle that can clean an oil on one end, but itās connected to a water molecule on the other end (water miscible). They are nanosized colloidal dispersionās prepared from amphiphilic molecules, with a hydrophobic tail and a hydrophilic head. The hydrophobic core acts as a reservoir for hydrophobic drugs (or nutrients, enzymes) and the hydrophilic shell stabilizes the hydrophobic core. When It comes in contact with THC, it basically āscrubsā it, but leaves no residue, in fact, it removes residue. It also kills spider mites, and prevent any type of mildew. It is organic100% organic. Non-GMO. Thereā s a trace amount of potassium bicarbonate (wine reduction agent) for pH adjustment, but less than .001% by volume. I messaged you months ago about it and
I will be searching for test beds and documentation. I am going to try to bring this product to market.
I may send some to @Jared who seems to have a MOLD issue every time so either his Rh is UP TOO HIGH, or not enough circulation or is stuck with spores on surfaces that keep propagating. I need a few more daysā¦Please let me know. I think the MITE issue may be of greater marketing capability than the mold
@Mrb53004 I would love to do a test bed for the mold. Have not had to deal with any Insects yet except fungas gnats. I am starting to think I might have to much wood in the grow room. I might use an epoxy sealer on all wood surfaces after this harvest.
I would consider: A chlorine or alcohol bath of all the surfaces, floors, walls, ceilingā¦Then a spray of Clove essential oil mixed with baking soda solution, wash later after 15 minutes. This should take care of both mold spores and some gnatsā¦Gnats in soil is a different issue but DE, food grade, adds silica to the soil and helps kill off gnats, thrips, etc. It usually is a sing of TOO MUCH MOISTURE. We often DRY things out to bring critters under control. You might be TOO MOIST and not letting things dry out between watering / feedings
I will see about sending you some of my solution but first I have to make sure I have enough for my test sites for mitesā¦From a marketing position, it is more advantageous to me and I have limited supply, it is NOT EASY TO MAKE!!
Thats cool just keep me in mind. I dont think I am overwatering but I could be wrong. During veg I was letting them start to wilt before watering. Have not done that since i flipped to bloom. Buckets are bone dry down finger deep before i water though. Humidity is staying between 35 and 38 and temps are 70 to 80 deg.
Do you mist with Milk solution (9 water to 1 milk) and spray? A great deterrent to some molds
AND I WILL KEEP YOU IN MINDā¦If my product can successfully do both (molds and mites), I hope it makes me a winner
I have sprayed several times with 25% milk solution.
9 to 1ā¦spray daily (before lights)
I will get back to you she just had another test yesterday she will know results either today or tomorrow. I just left my new doctor & im pissed the f off & scared my old doctor refused to give me mri for 3yrs than when I hit my head back in march they i was refused treatment from hospitals bc i waited two weeks after hitting my head bc i tried getting my doctor to schedule one finally after 8 months I got the mri & she than told me it shows shrinkage of the brain I specifically ask if it had to do with my cerebellum she said no it isnāt any particular part i asked bc i was born with an abnormal small cerebellum & my new doctor just finally got my results & it shows cerebellar atrophy which is my disease is towards end stages of progression also im always cold & my blood pressure is constantly up & down which is cardio myopathy well havent had a heart test yet but I dont need a test to tell me my doctor warned me this could happen to do the research myself bc there is so much about it so I researched it for over 10yrs & been told by all other doctors it cant cause these things so t hey stopped giving me tests & mriās I needed yearly since 2009 basically gave me a death sentence ive been begging them since 2009 to keep up on it but any woot sorry for venting I need 100% to research into the magic mushroom micro dosing bc i heard it has helped reconstruct brain cell & nerve activity & put MS in remission & my disease can cause MS i just dont know where to get them? Anyone know or know how long spores take to grow? Plus I need immune boosters & a cheaper method than probiotics for intestinal health ugh when it rains it pours
.
@Godshelper do you or the Drās know the underlying cause of your cerebellar degeneration? Treatments vary depending on cause but some can be treated with cannabis.
