First grow :) day 39

Greetings cultivation community! I’ll be posting updates of my grow to hopefully spark conversations sprouting advice/insight, and I also just want to share my progress with you beautiful people!

[x2 Sticky Ricky(Moon Mountain Kush x Black Afghan)] [x2 Runtz] [x1 Spicy Guava(Chili Verde x RS11)] [x1 Jack
Herer Auto]

I’m growing in an AC INFINITY 4x4 with a 400 watt ion board LED. 2 isolating fans, and an inline 6 fan with a carbon filter.

The conditions typically sit around
(75-78°F) (69-75%RH) (VPD/0.69-0.94kPa)
DURING LIGHTS ON [4:00am-10:00pm]

(70-74°F) (65-73%RH) (VPD/0.56-0.89kPa)
DURING LIGHTS OFF[10:00pm-4:00am]

I’m using Happy Frog, Gaia Greens 4-4-4, Worm Castings, and Great White mycorrhizae. Watering them every 2-3 days.

Here’s how my ladies are doing so far!

A healthy plant at 40 days should be cycling through water every day in a 1 gal pot. Are they getting enough water… they need enough water to rage in veg at this stage. Probably transplant in next week?

I just transplanted them yesterday. I actually didn’t know I should have been watering them everyday in the one gallons, I’ve been scared to over water. They are now in 5 gallon pots. How often might you suggest I water them?

Judge by the weight of the pot… Start with about 1/3-1/2 gal in a 5gal. As they get into stretch and flower stacking they may consume a gallon a day with evaporation as well. Every plants different so keep an eye on them and how quickly each one cycles through their water.

This is why I primarily grow in earth boxes. I can get a little more soil in, only do one top dress, and watering is very easy… Just dump a gallon down the tube when it’s dry. And everything always seems more tidy in tent with earth boxes covered with mulch covers (helps with bugs)

Did you separate the twins?

No I haven’t! I’ll send you a picture of how they’re doing!

I’ll try to send a picture, I’m having trouble, it keeps saying my file is too large.

No problem, must be a pretty big plant :sunglasses:

Sounds like you’re setting up a great environment for your grow! Your setup and conditions seem solid, and it’s awesome that you’re sharing the journey – looking forward to seeing how they develop!

Thank you! I’m just over 80 days into my first grow! My nutrient regimen has had some updates as I’ve gathered more knowledge, I now utilize Real Growers Recharge, Fish Sh!T and Fox Farm Bush Doctor CalMag, along with the other nutes I’ve already listed.

Cannabis evolved on a planet with much higher Co2.

That said.

Upgrade and add a Co2 generator and pump into the tent.

Add more light and raise tent temperature to 88⁰.

Follow along

Buy these

5 gallon head pack jug, square plastic put 2 holes in jug “bung” area carefully.

Buy 5lbs DADY Redstar yeast (Amazon)

Buy a fishtank air pump, air line, and a pack of random airline fittings.

Go to Sam’s club and buy 50-100lbs sugar

Will need a 5 gallons pail and a one gallon pitcher for ease of moving.

Plus a package of towels dedicated to this as it can get messy.

Also needed is a good lazer thermometer.

4 gallons of25%sugar to water at 70⁰-90⁰ in a 5 gallon bucket

90 grams yeast or more added to a gallon pitcher half full of 95⁰ lightly sugared water.

Stir the yeast mixture for 10-15 minutes (i go 11)

Put all 4.5+ gallons into the headpack jug.

Put airline in from air pump
Put airline out to the tent( near a fan is nice)

Then buy a remote sensor for your Co2 in the tent.

If smart, you will overspend here for one that controls an exhaust fan if over 1600ppms.

This Co2 system will allow you to push 1500 PPFD lighting in vegg for a full 18 hours daily.
And 2000-2200 PPFD in flower at 12 hours.

This system requires about $50-$100 a grow to operate when you learn to keep the yeast alive and dump off a little to add fresh food and dump some acid.

I wish you luck friend
