Confused? When Do We Start?

Hello Everybody, it’s probably a stupid question but my stoned mind cannot puzzle it. When seed company’s give a suggested harvest month, which month are they suggesting we germinate/plant?

This is an EU web based company. Europe is climatically very much like the US. Sowing usually takes place in the spring time, depending on your hardiness zone. Late October for harvest is based on amount of sunlight and the October harvest moon (moon cycles).
For indoor growers this is all moot. For outside growers, we look for how much time we can get in veg mode (more than 12 hours of sunlight so they do not go to flower). By September, our days begin shortening and the 12/12 starts the flowering. We usually want flowering in an 8 - 10 week average. Veg state can be as long as have more than 12/14 hours of sunlight.
Hope that makes sense

Technically outdoors with a photo you can plant as soon as threat of frost is past. If your plant dose good it would be a monster buy time it starts to flower in the fall. However if you were to live in Oklahoma as i do planting in early June would probably be better giving a full 5 months before freeze hits.
