Companion plants, keeping the bugs at bay

Working with a 27x27x63 tent, two autoflower plants at a time. Rememberingemphasized text how basil was always a good pest repellent and pleasant scent, I planted two little pots with several seeds, and I’ve been growing basil in the corners of the tent for a while now. It’s nice to have fresh basil for cooking, and the pest repellent properties are fantastic. The last two crops of Gsc autoflower, with basil growing alongside, have had absolutely zero pest damage. Big shade leaves look picture perfect. Critters don’t like the basil oil. Having fresh basil for my homemade pasta sauce a bonus. Grin.

Sounds good. We did total companion in the veggie garden. I put my plants, which are in 5 gal pots, among them. I have not had any pest issues.
I have a full greenhouse at the end of the garden and the plants go in there during storms or threats of frost. When the sun is glaring, I move then under the pear tree but being in the mountains, our temps are pretty moderate.
Thanks
