I have a 4" carbon filter from AC Infinity. Used it for 2 grows so far. Normally how long do they last?

Smell the inside of the filter, if its off, time to change. But you can also switch the cap ends around, change the activated carbon with fresh., can also dump the carbon out once you remove the cap ends onto a “hot plate” in an outdoor fire pit, which should reactivate the carbon via heat., can also dump the carbon into your compost pile, instead of just tossing it., if you buy a new one.

I just changed mine after years of grows. I only hook it up when flowering starts and the smell gets strong
