I have a veg tent and a bloom tent can i shorten from 12/12 right through the bloom cycle if so by how much can i go down to thanks

Veg tent - if you are vegging, you need more than 14 hrs of lights on
In Bloom, 12 hrs triggers the bloom. If you run LESS time, your flowers will under-produce. You can get by with min of 5 hrs light but the plants will not grow much. You will restrict growth of flowers and drastically reduce quantity of final product

BTW, I have pushed flowering plants at the 13 hr schedule (lights on) successfully and you get a lot more bud growth for that extra hour. This is as long as you have a stable strain. Some, Like GG4, hermie when stressed. Some, like WW…just take off
