Trying to determine if I need to defoliate a little. This batch is really growing dense leaves, and I expect it to go to flower next week. I want to greatly improved yield. 2 are Blue Jack City Auto and one is Jack Herer Auto.IMG_20230719_215358938|224x500
Check out my diary on these and let me know what more experienced growers think. Thanks

Kyle has a good article on the subject if you Google
defoliating Autoflowers youโll find it. It tells you why ,how and when you should.

I normally just remove leaves that shade lower buds. Those leaves are solar panels for the plant. Usually inside ones.

Assuming your environmental factors are in a proper range and your leaf surface temp is lower than ambient temp you could tuck all that you can and remove all that you canโt in that ever present need to get light to lower bud sites.
Or you can lollipop that thing , keep a great canopy and never mind those lower bud sites
