Auto flower defoliating

Trying to determine if I need to defoliate a little. This batch is really growing dense leaves, and I expect it to go to flower next week. I want to greatly improved yield. 2 are Blue Jack City Auto and one is Jack Herer Auto.IMG_20230719_215358938|224x500

Check out my diary on these and let me know what more experienced growers think. Thanks :slightly_smiling_face:

Kyle has a good article on the subject if you Google

defoliating Autoflowers youโ€™ll find it. It tells you why ,how and when you should.

I normally just remove leaves that shade lower buds. Those leaves are solar panels for the plant. Usually inside ones.

Assuming your environmental factors are in a proper range and your leaf surface temp is lower than ambient temp you could tuck all that you can and remove all that you canโ€™t in that ever present need to get light to lower bud sites.
Or you can lollipop that thing , keep a great canopy and never mind those lower bud sites
