After topping getting 3 leaves

Hi everyone, new to growing. I am trying seeds from weed bought, and experimenting before I invest to much time and money. I topped my few plants and now see 3 leaves growing instead on normal 7. Is this do to the stress of topping? And should I do anything about it? Thanks for any help.

This happens on occasion when cloning they will go back to normal as it grows: nothing to do but let it go. My opinion

Thanks, appreciate the response and help. Plants look great except the 3 leaves. Will wait it out.
