Does anyone know if a plug in wall outlet timer can be used with Sunco 80 watt 3800 lumens full spectrum lights?
You can use “smart plugs” that connect to Wi-Fi and are controlled through Alexa or some other brand application.
Any timer should have a rating for internal switching.
You want one rated to 20 amperes to be sure, but your light likely doesn’t exceed 1000 watts either.
There are a million timer options,
I used a reptile tank control with dual temperature probes and three dedicated outlets for a heater(winter) my light, and a probe outside the tent and an alarm set to high/low conditions.
